To distribute your music to stores, you first need to create your release in the Family in Music distribution portal.
Simply log in to Family in music and navigate to:
Your Music > Start a release > Go to Distribution
Once you're within your distribution portal, choose the option "Create a release" and complete all the essential metadata fields in order to successfully create and save the release.

Titles and other metadata
To avoid any possible issues with the DSPs, we highly recommend you review the metadata carefully before submitting a release. For more information on metadata, you can refer to this document by Music Business Association.
Mapping the release to the correct artist profile
If you already have a profile on Spotify, Apple Music, or SoundCloud, be sure to enter your artist IDs in the corresponding fields. This ensures your release is correctly mapped to your artist page on these platforms.
❗️ If it is your first release, leave the Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud profiles empty and we'll generate a new profile for this artist.
